Laura Loft
Hello, I’m Laura I am South West based Creative Community Facilitator and Musician/Performer and have built up a varied portfolio of community arts projects over the years.
It all started for me with a musical education at Dartington College of Arts where I graduated with BA Hons Music Performance. I then worked in Arts Marketing for various Charities and Organisations and developed into Community Facilitation and Project Management leading a engaging arts educational and wellbeing community projects for Primary, Secondary and young adults including specialist projects for children and young people with differing educational needs.
I set up Big Music Collective which creates and delivers music wellbeing resources, courses, live shows and events for children (www.bigmusiccollective.com).
Outside of work I enjoy travelling, paddleboarding, swimming, creating songs and digital illustrations and being by the sea and in nature with my bike, my family, a book, plus a good flat white and brownie on occasions!
I look forward to creating with you!
P.S. A fun fact about me is I play the cello and her name is Georgia. I am trying to master the art of singing and playing at the same time. Watch this space!
