Anxiety & Me Resource Training for Schools

IMG_0387.jpeg

Places still remaining: We are offering 4 fully funded Anxiety & Me online training workshops for school staff across Devon, delivered in February and March 2026.

Learning outcomes:

  • Creative activities to improve communication and pupil voice.

  • Easy-to-use worksheets and resources to improve anxiety, stress and wellbeing.

  • Sharing good practice, ideas and concerns.

Each school attending will be given copies of our 70-page Anxiety & Me workbook of resources and exercises for enabling creative and comfortable conversation about anxiety, stress, wellbeing and self care between school staff and pupils and/or family members. The two-hour training session will be co-facilitated by 2 experienced and HCPC registered Arts Therapists who have delivered our Anxiety & Me arts therapy programme in schools and can offer practical examples as well as creative exercises to try within the training session itself.

The aim of the workshops will be to build familiarisation and confidence in using the Anxiety & Me workbook within your own work and roles, and offer the opportunity to connect with others to improve outcomes for children and young people. Each training workshop can be for up to 22 staff, and each school can request up to 3 fully funded
places.

Our trained supervisors can offer group or individual supervision for practitioners and staff, either face to face or online.
This area of our work has grown from the increasing need within the voluntary sector and schools for front-line practitioners of all kinds to have access to safe, well-held, nurturing and informed spaces to reflect on their own well-being as well as best practice when working with children, young people and families who may be struggling.

“The Anxiety & Me training helped me in my role with students I only see for a short time, e.g. a few sessions. I have used activities in the workbook to focus on a specific worry a young person has brought like exam stress. It’s also developed my awareness of how I can work more creatively.”
