ROBIN OWENS

Hi, I'm Robin. (they/them). I am an Art Psychotherapist, registered with The Health and Care Professions Council.

I began my academic career in neuroscience, which was complemented by my own visual and performative art practice. After completing my BSc Neuroscience and enjoying the integration of art and science I went on to apply my studies on the MSc Art Psychotherapy course in Edinburgh, qualifying in 2020.

​

I have experience of working creatively and therapeutically in a range of settings including youth work, community arts and brain injury rehabilitation. Alongside my art psychotherapy practice I am also a youth worker, an artist and an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

Working creatively to enhance a person’s experience is at the center of what I do.
