Our arts therapy service for anxiety and depression is open!

youth-arts-health-trust-grw-photography2On 10th October, we celebrated World Mental Health Day by opening our arts therapy service for anxiety and depression. Our patron Prof. Paul Dieppe kindly snipped the red ribbon for us and said a few words and we had a great day meeting young people, parents, teachers, social workers, practitioners and other interested folks.

Huge thanks to everyone at the YES Centre for helping us take off in style with plenty of tea and cake.  It was also good to see volunteers from Devon & Cornwall Housing again and show them the room they helped decorate so beautifully.

We have received lots of positive feedback and referrals are starting to come in.

Our arts therapy for anxiety and depression service is open to 11-25 year olds and we have some fully-funded and reduced rate sessions available thanks to a lottery grant and support from other local funders.  We remain on the look out for funds to cover ongoing costs, especially to enable us to expand the service.

Please contact us for more info and a referral form.
